Mangos was honored with six ADDY awards – four gold and two silver – at the 2013 Philadelphia Ad Club award ceremony.
Elements of Mangos’ campaign for Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital received three gold ADDYs. The campaign, “Guardians of Tomorrow’s Superheroes” was based on Mangos’ vision of the Children’s Hospital doing everything possible to ensure that kids can grow up to fulfill their dreams. The winning pieces included two television spots which were created using YouTube-sourced video, as well as a full-page, full-color newspaper ad. The work can be seen here.
The agency’s fourth gold award went to a printed collateral piece created for Reconsidered Home, a vintage furniture boutique located outside of Philadelphia.
Mangos’ website for Navarro Saxophone Mouthpieces won a silver ADDY in the consumer websites category. The site includes a robust e-commerce platform and incorporates a plethora of rich media. It was designed to showcase the handcrafted mouthpieces’ museum-like quality in a setting of the same caliber. The site was also recently named Communication Arts Webpick of the day, another prestigious recognition in the industry. A case story of the Navarro work can be seen here.
Also winning a silver was a direct mail campaign created for Main Line Health. The campaign was developed to support the system’s expansion into growth markets.
Bradley Gast, partner at Mangos, commented, “We are absolutely delighted to be recognized with awards from such a prestigious group in the industry. It is our privilege to work with clients that are truly bold thinkers and doers. Our goal is to create memorable work that produces great results. The awards are like a cherry on top.”
