Mangos’ healthcare work wins seven Aster Awards

Mangos brings home five golds and two silvers for bold healthcare advertising at the 2012 Aster Awards.

The winning work was created for two large health systems and spanned a variety of media, including bilingual television, radio, print, direct mail and out-of-home.

Elements of Mangos’ campaign for Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital were highly honored with four gold awards. The campaign, “Guardians of Tomorrow’s Superheroes” was based on the vision that the Children’s Hospital is doing everything possible to ensure that kids can grow up to fulfill their dreams. An out-of-the box campaign for Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg’s new rapid assessment ER also brought home one silver award.

In addition to the LVHN work, some of Mangos’ recent work for Main Line Health was recognized. A unique and memorable television spot that was created to help the health system’s Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital break out from a crowded marketplace was regarded with a gold award. The spot echoed their innovative, bold approach to recovery. Pieces of the campaign, including the television spot, can be seen here.

A strategic direct mail piece produced for Main Line Health also won a silver award.

The Aster Awards are a global awards competition in which work is scored, judged and recognized for excellence in healthcare marketing and advertising.
