In a nutshell: Alex has more than 15 years’ experience in strategic marketing, advertising, digital transformation and customer experience development. But this isn’t a guy you can cram into a nutshell. Alex’s job is to guide CMOs across a shifting landscape, hold a torch aloft for the team, help them reap brilliant results, and make it look easy. He has helped launch major campaigns for DaimlerChrysler, SAP, PECO Energy, Johnson & Johnson, Farmers Insurance, and many more. His bookshelf is crammed with creative and strategic awards. When the FDA needed a social media panelist, Alex got on the Acela. He has also advised Manufacturing USA, an initiative funded by the White House and the Departments of Defense and Commerce. And if you’re looking for someone to ski off-piste with, he’s your man.
Death row last meal?
Shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with garlic bread and a bottle of Sierra Nevada pale ale. Or a cheesesteak from Dalessandro’s. At that point, I won’t be picky.
What’s your favorite website for Internet brain candy?
Twitter. The utility and ease of use still blow me away.
What piece of advertising do you wish you had done?
Nike. Just Do It. Wieden+Kennedy’s timeless call to action. And a constant reminder I need to get in shape.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in advertising?
Working outside. Ski instructor or park ranger would top my list.
