How do you communicate the benefit of fresh food to communities that don’t have easy
access to healthy food? This was our challenge as we began work with Get Real Get Raw,
a non-profit dedicated to bringing fresh foods and nutritional education to schools and
communities in need. Our solution was to go green, get Groothie and take it to the streets.

Our omnichannel campaign was anchored by an identity and positioning line that had appetite appeal for retailers and their target audience. It put a stamp on the fact that Get Real, Get Raw donates 100% of its profits in support of its mission. “Happy Kale”, their new mascot, took to the streets in a custom food truck giving out free samples of their signature smoothie – the Groothie.

Their new website presented the Get Real Get Raw story, products and blog for healthier living in a way that made everything green, look like everything delicious.

Ultimately, with an innovative pricing, manufacturing and distribution strategy, we helped Get Real Get Raw reach out to a whole new community – and generation – of healthy people.
